Evaluate 1 - Formative Assessments


 The purpose of this assessment is to quiz on the story, asking who, what, when, why of the story as well as recalling key details in a text.  
Students will show on the reading test their knowledge of the reading story for the week.  Students meet weekly with the teacher to go over assessments. The teacher discusses with the student about their progress throughout the week.  I will make sure the students are able to pass the standard before moving on with them. If they need to be retaught, then we will do that for sure. We often have to do that with students at the primary level.  Not everyone gets it the first time.
Standards:
ELAGSE2RI6: Identify the main purpose of a text, including what the author wants to answer, explain, or describe
ELAGSE2RL1: Ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in a text.

Create 1- Time Management 1.     OneNote   OneNote :   This tool is used by first creating a notebook one OneNote. You can then write notes to keep your data organized. OneNote makes it easy to find the notes you have written making it easier on yourself. This tool would be most helpful in a professional setting. When doing work for your job, you can make easy to find file folders taking some stress off of yourself. This would be perfect for students and or professionals doing research projects. I feel like I could use this from an instructor standpoint. Navigate 1 - Screen Capture

Navigate 1- Screen Capture I used the Screencastify chrome extension. This would be great to use in an online classroom because I can show them exactly how reading phrases fluently should be done. Many students still read like a "robot". We are trying to help them read like we talk. Using this program allowed me to show the powerpoint and read it so they would have an example. When students are out, they can look online where I post work and be able to continue from outside the classroom. Here is a link to my video.
