Create 4 - Learning Object Authoring Tools

A learning object is an interactive stand alone unit of learning that can be taken independently to support an objective or can be incorporated within a module to build instruction or have immediate feedback.  It may be a self assessment quiz, a presentation, or a fun educational game, etc.
Kahoot is a learning tool that allows teachers and students to create fun games in order to test knowledge and engage the entire class.  My students love to play this game in class. They have to answer questions and have four choices. It engages the whole class. I can see if I need to go back and reteach certain skills.  It shows them the correct answer and gives points. It shows after each question who is at the top of the leader board.
Peardeck is a learning tool that is also interactive. I love this program. I actually presented this last Spring at our school system Tech Conference.  This program allows you to make a powerpoint presentation and add PearDeck slides to make it interactive. There are so many options to do with this program. It can work from primary age all to high school. I taught my daughter's history teacher how to do it. She loves it and uses it now in her classroom.  They can type responses and their classmates as well as the teacher can see them.  You can have them draw responses, slide to one side agree/disagree, etc.  It is worth it to show teachers how interactive this tool is as well.
I would look for in a Learning Object Autoring Tool would be how is works and how easy and user friendly the application is.  We have so much to do, we don't have the time to work on something all day for it to not be able to work correctly.  I chose these two because I use them in my classroom.  I do have to add all content, but if you can find a powerpoint that works for your curriculum, you can add it to it.  Kahoot has many game topics already in the program. You can use one already provided, or make your own.
