Communicate 3 - Evaluation Methods
Students must have meaningful feedback in order to grow as a student. It provides a dialog that students may use to grow from. Constructive feedback can be provided from both the instructor as well as their peers. Positive feedback from the teacher encourages and motivates the learner to keep working. I think this is a great way to get your students to do their best. Young children want to hear they have done a great job on their work. Students will work for praise, pencils, and much more. As a teacher, my feedback has an impact on how the students meets course goals and has a large impact on overall learner performance outcomes. When students self-reflect, it helps them understand where they are and what they need to do to improve.
Students may also give feedback to the teacher. This can help the teacher assess the course content and make adjustments where needed. I tell my students that I am learning all the time as well.
